It was 3:00 AM in the morning that we started from New Delhi towards Lansdowne. Lansdowne is around 270 kms from New Delhi. The route we took was from Meerut, Modinagar, Bijnor, Kotdwara and finally Lansdowne. Our first pitstop was at Bijnor, where we had Paranthas with tea. Without wasting any more time, we moved towards Lansdownne. We reached Lansdowne at around 9:00 AM. The road from Bijnor till Kotdwara is full of pot holes and one should ride carefully on these roads. Once, we reached Lansdowne, we moved towards Tarkeshwar Mahadev. Our plan was to have a night stay at Lansdowne or some place near Tarkeshwar Mahadev. On the road from Lansdowne, we came across a small Village Sisaldy, and decided to have a night stay at that place. We booked a room at The Rock Heaven Resort for 3000 INR for a night inclusive of breakfast. The Rock Heaven Resort is situated amidst the scenic beauty of the environment. The resort is a perfect blend of contemporary facilities with traditional Indian hospitality. One can make a booking at 9412958780,  if one wants to enjoy nature. Below is a Hyperlapse captured for a Sunset amidst the mountains.

The next morning after breakfast we headed towards Tarkeshwar Mahadev, which was around 20 kms from the resort. Once we reached the temple, we were mesmirized by the beauty of the place. Its importance lies because it is believed that Goddess Parvati prayed in Tarakeshwar to get Lord Shiva. It is in the foot hills of the Himalyas and one can see large Pine trees. There are no shops around this place, so one should carry all goods that may be required during your stay at the place. Bells are offered at the Temple. The devotees come to Tarakeshwar and offer a bell at the temple. These bells are stored and are hung outside on the pathways to the temple.
