Road Trip to Prem Mandir, Vrindavan

Hello Guys, Are you looking forward to visit Prem Mandir in Vrindavan. If your answer is "YES", be rest assured that I would guide you through the history of the temple. I would also share some of the pictures taken during my visit at the temple.

I got a chance to visit Prem Mandir and I was mesmerized by the beauty of the Temple. The temple was established by Jagadguru Kripalu ji Maharaj and is now maintained by Jagadguru Kripalu Parishat, a non-profitable charitable trust. The foundation stone of the temple was laid in Jan of 2012 and the construction was completed in 2012 and the construction cost was around 150 crore Rupees ($23 million USD).

It is made from Italian marble and is spread over 54 acre land. It took 1000 artists to build the splendid Prem Mandir, Vrindavan. The temple is dedicated to Lord Shri Krishna.

So it is advisable to visit the Prem Mandir during evening hours but please ensure that one visits before 08:30 PM as the door are closed then. Also, one should have at least 1 - 2 hours to visit the temple. The events of life for Lord Shri Krishna and Radha Rani are portrayed all across the temple.

There is also a public canteen in the premises where one can enjoy eating pure vegetarian food.

Some important things while your visit to the Prem Mandir:

  • Beware of the pickpockets.
  • Always park your car/bike in the authorized area opposite to the temple, else chances are that the vehicle would be towed by the Police
  • Visit the temple during evening hours to feel the magic of the lightening and the musical fountain.
  • Must have some super delicious food from the public canteen.

I would definitely visit this place in the future as this place so attractive that I didn't want leave the place.
