Kargil Parakram Parade 2018 | Bike Ride

Hello Guys!! Are you looking forward to know about the Kargil Parakram Parade 2018. If your answer is affirmative, you are at the right place. I got a chance to be a part of the Parade and I would share my experiences with you.



The parade was organised in the memory of Kargil martyrs, to recall the valor & sacrifices of brave soldiers that resulted in spectacular victory in Kargil War 1999. Over 300 bikes participated in the Parade. The Parade was scheduled on July 22nd, 2018. The parade flagged off from Netaji Subash Place and proceeded towards Kargil Apartments Dwarka Sector-18, where the bikers were welcomed by the families of the martyrs of the Kargil war.

Kargil Parakram Ride - Netaji Subash Place

We reached Netaji Subash Place, Pitampura at 06:00 AM in front of Fun Cinemas. There were around 300 bikers. The Parade was organized by Thor Group, New Delhi. We left from Netaji Subash Place at around 07:30 AM after the crowd was addressed by the senior member of the Thor group, Maddy and one retired Colonel.

We reached our destination Kargil Apartments by 08:30 AM and it felt very nice being part of such a Parade. Around 300 Royal Enfields were roaring on the roads of Delhi to support the noble cause and to honor the families of the martyrs of the Kargil war. We were welcomed by the families and were served by water, Pakoras, cookies and tea.

There after flag was hosted followed by National Anthem. A silence was observed for 2 minutes to pay the respect to the martyrs of the Kargil war. After that there was speeches given by the honorable chief guest and encouraged the people to join Indian Army. The session was concluded by breakfast after that we left for our places.

It was a proud moment to be a part of Kargil Parakram Parade to pay respect to the Kargil Heroes.
